This weeks theme:  Vacation

1.  Do you take family vacations?

Every year we travel to Illinois once during the summer and we either go back to Illinois or travel to Arizona for Christmas.  We love to go, go, go!

2.  Did you take family vacations as a kid?  If so, what is the one you remember the most?

We used to go to the Ozarks, or we would go camping during summer breaks.  We never went on big fancy trips but the things we did do as a family were always fun.  I never remember being disappointed about anything we did.

3.  What is your dream vacation, as a family, a couple or even alone?

I want to travel to Italy.  I have always wanted to see the history, eat the food, drink the wine.  Alone.  Well, with Heath.  Just without kids.  With kids, I really want to take them to DC.  I would love to surround them with history, museums, monuments, all of the things that make our country great!

4.  What is your preferred method of traveling? Ex. flying, driving, taking a train, a cruise?

I like to drive.  I like the freedom it gives me.  We can stop and do what we want, we can take a detour.  We can just enjoy ourselves.

5.  Have you already made vacations planned for this summer, or are you planning a "staycation"?

Plans are already made!  I am super excited!  Heading to Illinois to visit family and then traveling up to Chicago for Blogher!!  It's going to be a great summer!

This Week's Theme: FOOD

1.  Do you have a favorite food?  One you just can't imagine living without?

Yes!!  Popcorn.  I am an addict!  Oh and Philly cheese steak sandwiches!! I would just die if they ceased to exist one day!

2.  Do you prefer homemade or do you eat out a lot?

I like to cook.  I actually love cooking for people.  It makes me happy.  I do like to eat out on occasion, but since it's usually me vs 3 kids I prefer to handle all of the food tantrums in the privacy of my home.

3.  Is food comforting to you?

Some foods are.  The ones that remind me of home or from when I was little.

4.  Do you have foods that you absolutely cannot stand that your significant other loves?  Do you make it even if you hate it, or do you just force them to go without?

OMG!  YES!  I HATE fish!  He LOVES fish!  It disgusts me to no end!  I do cook it for him though.  *shivers*


5.  What's your go to food when you are just too tired to mess with anything else?

Pizza!  It makes everyone happy!!

This Week's Theme: LUCK

1.  Do you believe in luck? Why or why not?

Not so much.  I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.  I don't always know the reason but I know that there is a plan in place.  Free will and playing odds are what gets us what we have.  Not luck.

2.  Do you or have you ever had any good luck charms?

Nope.  Nothing.  Nada.  I know, I'm boring.


3.  Does your Significant Other have a lucky charm? What is it?

No.  Well, he claims I am but I'm not sure I can be considered all that charming.  hehe

4.  Where do you think the word Luck originated from? Just guess if you don't know

Glad this isn't a test!  I have no clue.  I would guess Ireland with all of their lucky charms, and such.  However, if the answer seems that obvious, I am typically wrong.  LOL

5.  Do you know of anyone who goes overboard with luck or lucky charms? Please explain!

My kids tend to go crazy overboard with Lucky Charms cereal does that count?
Really, I don't!!  Well, I don't think I do. I wish I did!!  I am always looking to add some humor to my life. Anyone want to apply to be my crazy lucky charm friend? haha

This Week's Theme: HIGH SCHOOL

This Week's Questions:

1. What was your favorite memory in HIGH SCHOOL?

Activities with Student Council.  It was fun and taught me so much.  Plus, the trips to Chicago were awesome!!

2. If you could do one thing over in HIGH SCHOOL, what would it be? 

I would have attended more often and picked my "friends" more carefully.  I was in way to much trouble and I could have been so much better than I was.

3. Did you have a HIGH SCHOOL sweetheart? Do you still keep in contact with him?

No I didn't.  I didn't date anyone from my high school.

4. Have you attended a HIGH SCHOOL reunion yet? If so, how was it? If not, what do you think it will or could have been like?

No I didn't get to attend.  I wish I would have been able to but my travel plans were on dates that just didn't correspond.  I have a high school reunion daily on Facebook though.  I don't think I missed out on too much.  haha

5. Do you think you were popular in HIGH SCHOOL?  Do you think if you went back now it would be the same or different? Feel free to post any pictures of you from high school.

I was who I was.  I didn't hang out with any one specific group of people.  I hung out with whoever, whenever.  If I went back now I would be totally different.  My values and lifestyle is the complete opposite of who I was as a teenager.  I was ridiculous and never thought about consequences.
